Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Bourbon Whiskey 750mL

Named for the 14th tallest tree on the planet, Pipe Dream is our first Bourbon whiskey. Pipe Dream Bourbon is made from barrels aged between four and twelve years with a high corn mash bill. Smooth and complex, it is a true sipping whiskey.

Deep in the Patriarch Forest of Humboldt Redwoods State Park, the coast redwood Pipe Dream rises 367-feet from the ancient forest floor. Among the fastest-growing trees ever measured, its majesty and rise to prominence inspires us to reach higher in our pursuit of excellence.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Deep Golden Hue.

Nose: Powerful nose with sweet maple, vanilla, and a hint of honey.

Palate: Rich, deep and complex with roasted pecan, vanilla, and lingering char and woody notes. Smooth with a hint of black pepper on the finish.

"A blend of 4 to 12 year old bourbons, including some made at Sonoma County's Graton Distilling Co., along with bourbons from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Named after Pipe Dream, a giant redwood near the distillery. An herbaceous nose offers spearmint, spice, tea, and leather. Coconut on the palate, followed by orange oil, peach pie, vanilla, brown sugar, and chocolate-covered almonds. The finish has spice, nutty dark chocolate, espresso, and melon.
