Distillery founder John Duff travelled to Kentucky and South Africa in pursuit of whisky adventures, returning to Scotland in 1898 to build the BenRiach Distillery.

BenRiach became independent in 2004 by BenRiach Distillery to experiment with several interesting wood finishes and continue to produce whisky from peated and non peated malted barley. This luscious 12 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is unconventionally made using three facets of sherry cask maturation.
