Anthology is an annual storytelling experience that captures the essence of Four Roses through a curated collection of narratives. Each year unveils a new chapter, spotlighting a defining moment in our bourbon's rich history. This evolving series honors the legacy of Four Roses—celebrating it alongside the highly anticipated release of our limited 21-year bourbon.
Origin takes you back to 1888, where the Four Roses story begins with Paul Jones Jr.'s timeless romantic gesture—laying the foundation for the premium heritage bourbon we are today. Distilled in 2002 and aged to its peak before being transferred to stainless steel vats, this inaugural release is a 21-year-old, barrel-strength OBSF, available in 750ml bottles.
Our Master Distiller is always on the lookout for exceptional barrels to be mixed or bottled in their purest form to better create a new experience with each release. Each of our limited edition bourbons is non-chill filtered to capture its straight-from-the-barrel flavor.

"Intense and quite wine-like on the tongue, the aromatic buildup is paid off immediately. Old and layered with wood, the charry-tarry bourbon unfolds with amazing austerity, evoking tobacco leaf, leather, and tar in quick succession. If there’s fruit left in the barrel, it fully evaporates before it hits the glass: This is 100% savory, though that doesn’t mean it’s without nuance. Elements of walnut (namely shell), black pepper, burnt grass, and lingering creosote all combine to create a, well, appropriately ancient but surprisingly immersive sip. It tastes extremely old, but as a famous Monty Python character might has said, not quite dead yet. The longer it sits in the glass and on the tongue, the more its latent life is revealed. The oak gives it structure, but the fruit and sweetness stay front and center from the first sip to the last, and the result is absolutely delightful.
